The James Gang has re-located their 24/7 live bait & tackle vending machine to BOB & STEVE'S BP convenience store in Cumberland, WI!

We were searching for an ideal convenience store to add the convenience of snacks and fuel as you stop by to grab bait and tackle from our 24/7 machine. This machine will be stocked beginning Sat April 27, 2024 with leeches, nightcrawlers, and leaf worms. Within a week, expect the remaining tackle slots to be filled with all kinds of goodies, such as 2 cycle oil, hooks, boomers, sinkers, lures, bug spray, tick repellent, Dude Wipes, and more!

We were red-hot with smallmouth bass in the fall on the LAV-3, started out 2024 with our fist bass of the year on this lure, then switched over to the FREEDOM KICKER for an excellent reaction bite for ice-out staging female largemouth bass.

The FREEDOM KICKER works well in clear water on flats near spawning areas, around docks, and over deep wood cover. MAMA'S CHILI is an excellent color to start with, even in clear water conditions. Fish it slow and steady, throwing an occasional erratic pump into your rod tip.
