Welcome to the 2021 Western Wisconsin Riverbank Rally!! Here are the rules of how this tournament will be ran and how the entry fees/payouts will work:

Up to 100 anglers will be participating.

The tournament is allowed at ANY riverbank of your choice in the general region of Western Wisconsin, including the Mississippi River and St. Croix River. This tournament falls under legal Minnesota and WI DNR guidelines, so anglers in the western region of WI ARE permitted to fish the MN side of the river. All DNR laws are to be followed in MN/WI boundary areas. The tournament will run from April 3 to August 29, 2021. You are free to fish for the 5 qualifying species at anytime. The tournament is based on LENGTH of fish. When an angler catches a fish in a qualifying category, he/she will measure the fish from tip of nose to the longest part of the tail. The angler will send a picture of the fish to our email at [email protected] or on or Facebook Messenger (James Gang Fishing Company) and notify us the length of the fish. We need the anglers to display this code in each picture so we know that it was taken during the tournament!! Just use a marker and write on a piece of cardboard, card stock, note card, etc and make sure it is visible. The tape measure will be over or under the fish in the picture.

Feel free to take a nice picture of the angler holding the fish as well and send it to us so we can display it on the scoreboard if it takes the lead.

We will have a running scoreboard on this website from April to September updating the leaderboard for each category every few days. On September 1, the winners of all 5 species categories will be announced. Each category champion will receive a trophy and a $20 cash winning. All 5 winners will also be qualified and invited to the CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND which will take place September 5, 2020 in Eau Claire, WI from 4 am to 12 noon. The species fished for at the championship will be the LAKE STURGEON. We will fish river bank locations together and rotate the locations every few hours. All sturgeon will be officially measured by Jesse James Piontek and verified by competitor anglers on the bank. The angler that lands the longest lake sturgeon of the championship will win the championship trophy and the pot of money!

ENTRY FEE COLLECTION AND DISTRIBUTION WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:

$2 of each $10 entry fee will be donated to THE IKE FOUNDATION & FISHER'S OF KIDS ANGLER ACADEMY to help distribute fishing tackle and introduce children into the positive influence of the outdoors and fishing.
