James Gang Promotional Staff team member KEVIN ROGALSKI lit up a local lake Saturday with his family as a weather front was approaching. After a tough week of fishing, he touched up a James Gang 5" BOOTYKICKER with some Spike-It dyes, and worked his lure ultra-finesse on a weighted EWG weedless hook. He managed to land a 5 lb 3 oz trophy largemouth bass, his wife landed the biggest of her life (just under 20,") then he followed up with the biggest bass of his life - a SIX POUND THREE OUNCE bass!! To top the 6 lb mark in Wisconsin is extremely tough to do, so not only are we extremely impressed with Mr. Rogalski's accomplishment, we are also very proud that our lure design and recipe (that we sent to Mr. Randy Henderson of Lethal Baits Soft Plastics to pour for us) was able to produce a fish of this caliber. JAMES GANG CEO ALEX JAMES CELEBRATES WITH DALE STROSCHEIN A FEW HOURS AFTER HE CAUGHT THE LARGEST BASS OF HIS HISTORIC GUIDING CAREER

Well known walleye & smallmouth bass guide, Dale Stroschein, has been catching fish and breaking records ever since he entered the world of guiding and professional fishing. Dale runs WACKY WALLEYE GUIDE SERVICE of Sturgeon Bay, WI and is known for getting his customers on the largest smallmouth bass and walleye in the world. His works have gotten himself inducted into the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame, he has been featured in several TV shows over the past several decades, including a show by Byron Velvick called "Guides Eyes" in which Dale was mentioned as one of the greatest and most respected guides in the country. Dale has been honored by Johnny Morris of Bass Pro Shops alongside the greatest fishermen in the history of Team Tracker/Nitro, and during his Pro Walleye run broke multiple records for fish sizes at weigh-in. On Saturday, Dale landed his biggest bass of his career, a 7.36 lb smallmouth. Not only is this fish a huge accomplishment, an angler must realize that this fish was caught at the time of the year when it is likely to be the most lean - August. This fish was probably extremely void of eggs, and has not even begun to feed heavily for the winter season. If Dale managed to land this giant in pre-spawn or late fall, there is a possibility that he could have landed a new state record smallmouth bass. Door County Wisconsin will produce the next state record, in my opinion, and the best of the best is right on them. I highly recommend booking a guided trip with Dale and his elite buddies Marc Jackson and Caleb Zorn. Dale is extremely talented, knowledgable, passionate, and kind. And the best part - he has a GREAT sense of humor. Dale is quick to become good friends with his customers and truly cares that you enjoy your experience and have a successful day of fishing.
